Project Description:

The team worked with Baystate Health to plan for the expanding Pioneer Valley Family Medicine practice, and develop an Urgent Care Clinic and ancillary services. The design, based on the Medical Home Model of patient care delivery, focuses on clinical collaboration and efficacy, improving the patient and staff experience, while implementing an on–stage/off–stage planning concept.

The initial phase of a multi-phased 30,000 – 50,000 SF Ambulatory Care Center, the primary care clinic consists of approximately 19,000 sf accommodating 12 Primary Care Providers. The 24,000 sf phase 1 components also include a Lab and “rotating” Specialist Clinic. Current planning is underway to include an Imaging Suite with X-ray, CT, Mammography, Ultrasound and Bone Density, another dedicated specialist clinic as part of Phase 2 development, and future planning for Urgent Care and other services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Part of the design team that helped develop the interior design of the space and completion of construction documents.
